Problem with files on network server and Windows 7
I now have two windows 7 computers in my office. My domain is controlled by a Windows Small Business Server 2008 that has a raid array attached to it acting as my network file storage. When I create a new file or folder on the network file server from one of the Windows 7 PCs and then try to access that file or folder on the the other Windows 7 PC it is not there. Even if I refresh the view in Windows Explorer it is still not there. I have to log off the network and log back on and THEN the file or folder is there. What is causing this and how do I turn it OFF! Thanks in advance to anyone that can tell me why this stupid behaviour is happening.

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums. As the file or folder on the network server doesn’t sync right away, it seems to be more related to Windows SBS 2008 network configuration, I recommend you to post in Windows Small Business Server forums for a better assistance. The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding. Best Regards Dale Qiao TechNet Subscriber Support in forum.
