Hi,

I bought a new Toshiba KIRA 102. when trying to turn on bitlocker always getting the same message:

New window pops-up saying following:

QUOTE: "This device can't use a Trusted Platform Module. Your administrator must the "allow Bitlocker without a compatible TPM  option" in the "Require additional authentication at startup" policy for OS volumes." END QUOTE

What shall I do? Or my computer does not have necessary hardware?

may I know if you need to connect to domain environment?

from the error code, you unable to use bit locker because your chip on the processor is latest version and has extra security feature, you still can use bit locker, but you need some extra steps and store your encryption key to USB drive

The Encryption Process will takes some times, 25GB data for 1 hour, so its depend how big your drive.

Also before perform this, I would suggest you to contact Toshiba as laptop manufactured, make sure there is no security conflict with built-in software
