Problem with authentication to domain application
Hello, I've one problem with windows authentication to application runs in our company's domain (NTLMv2 mode). Unfortunately, I don't know details about about this app at this time... What I know:-Windows authentication runs on Windows 7 Beta and older (= reason of my problem come with last Windows 7 RC build 7100)-Windows authentication is unsuccessful, MSIE appears standard login dialog. If I fill domain, name and password manually, authentication is unsuccessful again. If I tested it again and again, I locked my account, of course... :) Where can be problem? LAN manager? Encoding? Any suggestions...? Thanks in advance, Dusan

Hello Adam, thanks for reply...Answer is nothing. IE appears login dialog again. After three attepmts I have locked domain account (domain policy). Event log is empty too. That's why I speculate about encoding problem.I understand, I have a few details, but unfortunatelyI haven't more. Easiest way (may be) is to check changes between W7BETA and W7 RC (because BETA runs right), but I didn't find anything corresponding with my problem.ThanksDusan

Did you check Internet Explorer Security settings and added the URL for your website to the Local Intranet zone?Ray

Yes, there isn't difference between W7 BETA and W7 RC, because Internet Security settings are distributed by GP.Just to be sure,I checked it and security settings are consistent.ThanksDusan
