Problem with USB wireless...
I am running windows xp professional with a belkin g wireless router. I have one computer hard wired and the internet works, I have another (both windows xp pro), that is using a belkin usb wireless receiver. The computer using the usb shows networks, but will not allow the computer to connect. When you press on the network, the "connect" button is able to be pressed. When you press the "connect" button, it does nothing at all. When you open internet explorer, the error message is "can not connect to the internet, no internet connection detected". Windows sees the connection, it just won't connect. It used to connect with this device but then started to "intermittantly" drop the connection, now it won't work at all. My wife uses a laptop with Windows 7 and her computer connects. I even went in and updated the driver, (then nothing worked for it), so went back to old driver. On the network section I removed it from the perfered network list. Then I tryed to connect again and that did not work either. What can I do?1 person needs an answerI do too

Will it connect to other networks? Since you mention that it started to intermittently drop before I have to wonder if maybe the wireless receiver is failing - is it still under warranty?-B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook

go to network properties for Computer with printer and install IPX/XPS/Net bios strictly only for Network card which share LAN not the WANhttp://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/xpnetwork/thread/1b0bb4b9-5d4f-494d-b8cf-f162ca07adb6Best of LuckSohail Khan
