Hope to find Help here.The issue is that we are using Proxy Authentification in our business network. Normally we are using Win XP.Now i have to try Win7.I can use it within the domain, without any Problem its fast and stable.But i cannot connect to the outside via Proxyauthentification. whatever account i try to use to authentify to the proxy the question for the account appears again. at the moment i am dispairing on this cause i prefer a migration to Windows 7 and the arguments of mine are going down.Hope someone can Help.Thanks in advance rasti

Hello Nick,yes i have. But my troubleshooting has come a step forwards.At the moment i think i have to prove our Proxyversion. Seems that the Version of Squid we are using is the problem.Next week on Friday we have to do some work on our Business Network then our Squid is updatet too. We need 2 Weeks on "Before Information" so our Customers are informed when the Net is going down for a few hours.I hope the Squid Update will solve the Problem.Nevertheless if its not Squid ill have to find a solution, but the advised Migration to a new MS OS is planned with a TestSystem to start in the early next year. This gives me a little time to troubleshoot this.You know, in the ITthe time is running like a sportscar ;-)Thanks rasti

If the Squid is the issue then the update could possibly help.

I have the same problem but I don't think we are using Squid - I'll have to check. What version of Squid are you on currently and what version should you be upgrading to for this to work?
