Problem with Network printer
My husband and I have two computers in our home network, both running Windows 7 64-bit. Attached to his desktop computer via a USB hub is a HP LaserJet 1018 printer. It will print from his computer inconsistently. It has never printed from my laptop computer. Both have the most recent drivers from HP's website and file and printer sharing is enabled. I can access all the shared files on his computer and he can access them on mine. When I send a file to print from my laptop, it gives no error message, but sits there spooling forever. I have tried reinstalling the drivers, and clearing the printer spooler, but nothing is working. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, First, you could refer to the following article: You cannot print to some shared printers from Windows 7 Second, try the following steps: 1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Printers, right-click the icon representing the printer to be modified, and then click Printer Properties. 2. Click Ports, click to clear the Enable Bidirectional Support check box, and then click OK. Third, due to the Windows 7 attached printer also cannot print properly, I suggest you switch printer cables and USB hub to check the result. Hope it helps.
