Problem upgrading 8.1 pro to Windows 10

Hello,

My problem is that, when the installer (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10) askes me what stuff i want to keep, the option that states "keep your personal files and aplications" is fadded out and in the bottom part of the installer it says that "you cannot keep your windows settings, personal files and aplications, because you chose to install windows 10 in another language than you are using right now"(the text was originally in Romanian)

I am from Romania, and my Windows is in English, the part of the installer that downloads the update is in english, and the other where this comes up is in Romanian,my question is how do i upgrade to windows 10 and still have all my aplications and setting?

PS: i dont have the option to select a language in the installer..

Are you trying to change languages?  Did you do a clean install?
