Problem installing Adobe Lightroom on Windows 7, 64 machine
Hi, Been trying to install lightroom 2.6 but getting nowhere. When I try to run the installer I get the message "cannot extract files, check there is enough disk space and permissions" (or something pretty similar) - there's plenty of disk space and I'm pretty sure i've set the permissions up correctly. Have googled this extensively - there seem to be plenty of people using this set up but can't find anyone having the same problem! Thanks in advance.

I'm curious as to what permissions you thought you had to change prior to installing? I agree with you that seems to be plenty of people setting this up and the exe has the installation for both 32 & 64bit. Have you tried restoring to an earlier point before you started changing permissions. It would also help if we had the exact error message so we can narrow down the possibilities. Please temporary disable antivirus and antispyware then try to install the program again. Also please run the installation as administrator.Arthur Xie - MSFT
