Problem getting ICS to work with ATT Cingular data card and Iphone
Hi,I am trying to share the internet connection from my ATT wireless datacard with an iPhone, using an ad hoc network.I am running Windows 7 64 bit. The ATT card connects beautifully, but as soon as I establish an ad hoc network and connect to my iphone, the ATT connection drops, saying that there is another active connection (the ad hoc one).I shared the ATT datacard connection, but ICS just does not want to work together with the ad hoc network.Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi, Please try the following steps to turn on Internet connection sharing. 1. Go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center 2. Under Change your networking settings, click Set up a new connection or network 3. Select Set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network 4. Enter your Network name, and enter a Security key if wanted 5. Check the box for Save this network and click Turn on Internet connection sharing on next page For more information, please refer to the following article: Windows 7 Ad hoc network with iphone problem Thanks, Novak
