Problem displaying web pages
I had heard rumors that installing Internet Explorer 8 would screw up on Win7. Question is, I haven't been able to access any pages on Internet Explorer that was built into Win7, and I am seeing if anybody has run into the same problem. The network is fine. But I also can't get win7 to troubleshoot theproblem, either.

I read somewhere that the Internet Explorer 8 for Windows 7 is different from the one available for Vista and Xp. Have you installed the right one? My Windows 7 came with IE8 already installed, but it is very slow on my test setup. To check it was not my web connection I installed Google Chrome browser which installed quickly and correctly and runs very fast, making IE8 look poor by comparison. GC.

Coady287, Hi, my names Feran and Im working with the Internet Explorer Outreach Team to provide assistance and help answer questions people might have about Internet Explorer. You are correct, Windows 7 includes the IE8 beta 2 version. The recently released IE8 RC1 is not compatible with Windows 7 at this time, but is with Vista and XP. If you still use the XP or Vista operating system and are interested in trying out the RC1 you can download it here, as well as learn more about its new features: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/beta/worldwide-sites.aspx?ocid=ie8_sm_a I hope this helps, FeranInternet Explorer Outreach Team
