Hello, I've been working at home, for about a year, and connect to my employer's network via VPN in order to access all my work related files. I had Windows XP but recently upgraded to Windows 7. After the change I have been having all sorts of problems with the VPN connectivity. I must admit to a lack of technical knowledge related to computers, more of a number's person, I know just enough to be dangerous. I use an ethernet connection for security reasons. My problem is that after I sign in to the vpn application (Juniper) it shows the connecting symbol working and after much thinking one of 2 things happen, either it displays a message to the effect that the program cannot display the webpage, or there is an empty blue screen, but the URL is showing on the url bar. My IT guy tested it at the office using a hot spot device and worked fine, so he gave me the device to use at home should the problem persist. I tried it at home but the results are the same as before. I have checked that my home router is okay and am able to connect to the internet. Would appreciate it if anyone can offer some advice. Thanks!

Hi, You can confirm with Juniper support if it can work properly on Windows 7. When will Juniper Network's SSL VPN (SA platform/IVE OS) support Microsoft's Windows 7 OS as a supported client platform? http://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB13195 Windows 7 SP1 support on Secure Access series SSL VPN (Junos Pulse Gateway) and UAC platforms? http://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB20106 Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. After connecting to VPN, you can using ipconfig command to verify if the computer gets the correct IP address. If possible, you can create a built-in VPN. Set up a remote connection to your workplace using VPN http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Set-up-a-remote-connection-to-your-workplace-using-VPN Best Regards, Niki Please remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
