I installed Win7 Enterprise (obtained through the University). I got access to webDAV folders (like my Docs on the server), but I cannot get the webDAV print connection working. On an other (XP SP3) machine it is pointing at http://ourprintserver.com/printers/printer_name/.printer (port). In the properties of the port I add my username and password to connect. Normally I would surf to https://ourprinterserver.conm/printers, go to the desired printer and clikc Connect to install teh drivers and the printer. However after confirming that I want that printer installed it reports it Failed because of an invalid printer name. On the XP machine it does work. Can anyone shed some light on how to solve this? Hi Marco, Please check if you can access other resources in http://ourprintserver.com. You may configure your IIS to Enable anonymous access and see if this Windows 7 computer can access the printer. Hope this helps. Thanks.Nicholas Li - MSFT
