Hi, What error did you get when you access the shared folder. Also please make sure you set right permissions and share parameters in that file.

recently, i just open my working file(excel file) in the shared drive using my username in the network, xp computer is the one i used and i had no problem opening, editing and saving the file, but when i tried to open the file using a windows 7 computer which is belong also in the network, but unfortunately i having a problem saving the file, i noticed the file is in read-only mode. Why is this? Can you give me a solution for this? ASAP....
