Running two anti-virus/anti-maleware is never a good idea, they often see each other as harmful programs.

Hello Khalid.O,

Totally agree with Acreed02. In order to enforce his answer, let me develop the topic:

First of all, this is a usual condition. Both Windows Defender and BitDefender are security programs and is not recommended to have more than one enabled at a time. Talking about BitDefender this condition is very typical and it seems like the software itself Disables automatically Windows Defender in order to work properly. So, no need to alarm.

You can read more about it here:

On the previous article is also explained how to be able to reactivate the Windows Defender even after uninstalled BitDenfender.

Regards,

My fault, Acreed. No "parroting", just editing my detailed answer at the same moment you posted yours. Let me make amends.

And of course you deserve my vote (and a cookie)

Regards.

PD: "Parroting" states for mechanical repetition. Actually I gave a better explanation, side effects, and reasons. But you are welcome for your criticism. It always help to improve.

Gotta admit, I am laughing. Patronizing is often humorous. Your detailed answers; although riddled with spelling mistakes and often unnecessary, are a welcomed addition.
