I Am using Vista Ultimate in a standalone Environment and cannot get the "Base Filtering Service" to start. Ive tried changing the Logon account to the local Administrator account but it still returns Access Denied every time. Ive tried other accounts with admin rights but still no luck. Ive been through the Security Configuration and cannot see whats gone wrong. Also gone through the Local Group Policy and checking the Administrator account is still given full rights. Ive read somethe other threads and they suggest adding Domain admin rights and changing the Group Policies but having a standalone environment I cant try the same solutions. Can Any one give me any pointers on what to try??? Thanks
