Problem Sending message to users through tast manager in Windows 7
Hi I have admin rights. But when try to send message to users through task manager a message comes " Your message to user X ( sessionId=2) could not be sent. Access is denied. I think it has to do something with group policy settings. It was working fine previously. Can anyone advice which policy settings affected this ?

Hi, You can try the steps below. 1. Open Windows Task Manager. 2. Switch to Process tab. 3. Mark Show processes from all users. If you encounter the UAC prompt, please click continue. 4. Switch to Users tab. 5. Try to send message to the user account which you want to send. Kim Zhou TechNet Community Support

Hi, As you have not encountered the UAC prompt, please just ignore it and go to step 4. Let me know if it works. Kim Zhou TechNet Community Support
