Problem Connecting Two Ethernet Cards Simultaneously
I have an older Dell Precision 370 with Windows XP and two ethernet cards. One Card connects to the LAN using an assigned IP address and the other connects directly to the internet through a Comcast Router using an 'Auto-Assigned' IP address. For almost a year, this has worked fine with both connections running simultaneously. In the last two months, the system just will not allow both cards to be connected simultaneously. If one is connected (say the internet) and working, the LAN connection will show it is connected (in Network Connections) but when I try to browse the Server or access it in any way, it says that I am not connected. I have not made any changes prior to this problem. ANY IDEAS ?! PLEASE HELP ANYONE....THANKS IN ADVANCE. Marcus1 person needs an answerI do too
