Uliss, This forumis dedicated to Windows Vista. I suggest you try search the Windows XP forums to see whether other people have encountered this problem. Here is a link: http://support.microsoft.com/winxp. My guess is that either the Files, Folders or Disks or the Setup forums might be the best place to look. Good luck, and I apologize that we couldn't help you here.

No, you can't move it. It defaults to your user profile and creates the My Private Folder. It's a good idea, but limited. And now the corporate community is in an uproar over it because they say employees can hide files from administrators -so now, MS has said they will stop offering this utility...Wussys.

Well, I just looked for any documentation on "My Private Folder" and this is the only extant site. Apparently they have pulled it already. I find this un-business-like, the technological ability shouldnot be compromized when business policy can - if desired - restrict its use. Microsoft's answer to those that complainedshould have beento m-a-n-a-g-e their people and continue to providethe capability we have been waiting for. IfMicrosoft did pull "My Private Folder" for this reason, will they soon pull IE for the same reason? - The employees might abuse it. I hope this is not the reason why the feature was pulled. I would better understand if it was pulled because of bad coding - as if it couldn't remember the password or was searchable ...
