Printing to printer on a different domain
Hello I have a user who is logged onto a domain in America. When he is in London, he cannot print to a printer on London domain while logged on American domain. The printer is setup for him but when he attempts to print, I can see the printing being sent to the printer but a couple of secs later a message pops up saying "Could not print..." Thanking you in advance. Cobrador

Hi Cobrador, Are they in different forests and without establishing a trust relationship? If we want to share a resource between two domains which are not visible to each other or don’t have trust relationship between them, then either we have to put that resource in Workgroup or need to provide the Local Admin credentials of that machine while accessing the resource. Also, you may try to use IPP. More information: Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) Internet Printing and Resulting Internet Communication in Windows Server 2008 If there is any question about IPP, please post a new thread in Windows Server Forum for further discussion. The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.
