Try http://www.gameaddict.eu/troubleshooting-your-printer-and-print-spooler I think also is a network issue since you can't access the network. try ping something else on the network. try browsing the internet. Try pinging the printer directly by ip address. The network troubleshooter doesn't refer to network issues. Your network should be in working conditions. Check all the cables and check the retainers on the cables. Restart your switches/routers. Please do not forget to select the best answer if it helps you! Please download the latest network adapter driver from manufacturer’s website and install it. If the issue persists, temporary disable antivirus and firewall. If the issue still occurs, I suggest you reset your router. Then check NetBIOS configurations. 1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel. 2. Under Network and Internet, click View network status and tasks. 3. Click Change adapter settings. 4. Right-click Local Area Connection, and then click Properties. 5. In the This connection uses the following items list, double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), click Advanced, and then click the WINS tab. 6. Choose “Default…” under “NetBIOS Setting”. If the above suggestions do not help, please re-add the printer with the following steps: 1. Click Start, click Control Panel and double click Devices and Printers. 2. Click Add a Printer. 3. Select "Add a local printer". 4. Select "Create a new port". Choose "Local Port" as the type of the port. 5. In the box "Enter a port name", type the address as the following format. \\<IP address of the host computer>\<The Share Name of the printer> Then click Next. 6. Select the correct driver in from the driver list. If the required driver is not present, click the “Windows Update” button. After the update finishes, search for the proper driver again.
