Just purchased Thinkpad Laptop with Windows XP Professional. Installed 2 printers, Cannon MF3240, and HP Photosmart C4440. Both are connected using USB ports. When I go to >Start>Printers and Faxes, it does not show the printers being installed and will not let me add a printer or send a fax. When in a program (Visio, Excel, Word, etc), I can select the Cannon printer and it works. (Properties says is connects thru USB) Can select the HP, but it will not print. (Properties says is connected thru DOT 4-001)Since the installed printers do not show up on the Printer and Faxes window, I cannot change the settings.How do I get the installed printers to show up on the Printer and Faxes window??1 person needs an answerI do too
