Printer shows when i give print command from a file but can not find it Control Panel Devices

hi,

I have a problem in Windows 8.1 pro 64 bit.

i installed a USB printer (canon lbp 6000) successfully. Can give print also. Everything is ok.

Problem is i can not find out installed printer in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Devices and Printers.

Hi,

Is your print spooler service started and set to automatic? Sometimes that actually prevents the printer from showing up for some reason.

If the issue cannot be fixed, it might be caused by fast startup which may failed to load your printer driver properly.

Please completely shut down your PC and restart to see if the printer can be find.

Open command prompt as administrator and run this command:

shutdown /s /f /t 0

Can we fix this issue? If so, I recommand you disable fast startup as workaround:
