Printer sharing in Domain environment
Hi all, Is there any possible way that we can share a locally installed printer on a Windows 7 Professional x86 machine to share on multiple computers in a domain environment. All the systems are on same subnet. It is pretty simple in HomeGroup but I found no option to share my canon printer in domain environment. It was quite easy in XP. Is this feature totally unavailable in Windows 7 Pro? Thanks and Regards..

Hi, Try the following steps: 1. Log in Domain profile and enable printer sharing in Advanced sharing settings. 1) Click Start, click Control Panel. 2) Click Network and Internet, click Network and Sharing Center. 3) Click Change advanced sharing settings. 4) Check the box in front of Turn on file and printer sharing. 2. Then, to share your printer. 1) Open Devices and Printers by clicking the Start button , and then, on the Start menu, clicking Devices and Printers. 2) Right-click the printer you want to share, and then click Printer properties. 3) Click the Sharing tab, and select the Share this printer check box. Best Regards Dale
