I have 1 specifica printer, an HP 1320N. it is install on Win2003 Server/SP2 as a local printer to it via TCP/IP. I can open the printer properties as often as a like. No problem. I have 4 different workstations, all running XP pro. they can install the printer as a shared device of the server -- using the server as a spooler. The very first time I right clcik on printer, then left click on properties, the printer properties box opens up. Any subsequqnt attempt fails with the error: Printer Properties cannot be displayed. Operation could not be completed. Logging out does not help. Only reboot. if I reboot I get one acess to properties again. Can't find any reason for it or how to fix it. 1 person needs an answerI do too
