I have an HP Deskjet 5700 printer which has been installed and in use on my laptop for some time with no problems. Yesterday, I went to print something and it said unknown device when I plugged it in, and showed the printer as being offline. Needless to say, I can't print. I reinstalled the printer, that had no effect. Our other laptop can print to it just fine. I tried plugging several other things into my USB ports and they all work fine, so I doubt the issue is my ports. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
