Which market did you acquire an MX357? I cannot find it in any market on the Canon support site. Which version of Windows are using? 32 or 64-bit? OK, found these for the Asian markets for an MX357. Then click Start, Devices and printers, and select add a printer from the top, then follow the add a networked printer wizard.

I've solved the problem with similar methods.The Canon official driver is useless and still said cannot create new port.Anyway,thanks for your reply.

I have a canon PIXMA MX357 printer and I have downloaded the driver. During the installation,It finds the printer but says cannot create new port:0000 and the driver cannot be installed. After that,I tried to add new devices from Windows.However,Windows cannot search my printer after I clicked New Device. I am sure that my printer is on and connected to the router because I can go to the printer's configuration page. How to solve it?Thanks.
