Printer Problem

I am using Windows 10 as an OS.  Since installing this OS my printer is leaving ink marks on my printer paper as it is fed thru the printer!!  This may sound "off the wall" but it only has been doing this since the upgrade to Win 10  ??  This has me baffeled.  I use the utility available with ny Cannon printer to clean it but this does not work!!  Can you offer a suggestion??

Thanks

Check for latest drivers for Canon printer. If any available, please uninstall the existing driver and install the new driver. Once the drivers are installed, re-discover the printer.

Hi,

Firstly, I would to know whether it is a network printer or a local printer.

I infer the most possible reason for the issue is the driver problem since you have upgraded your system to Windows 10.

I suggest you update your printer driver and network driver in device manager. Just right click This Computer < Manage < Device Manger. Right click the adapter < Update driver software.

If it doesnt work, open Control Panel < Device and Printer, then right click the printer and choose troubleshoot.

We cannot exclude the printer hardware reason so that you would better perform printing on another PC for test. If the issue exists on another PC, I suggest you contact Cannon manufacturer for help.

Wish you will troubleshoot the issue smoothly.

Best Regards
