Print spooler service preventing machine from entering standby or hibernate mode.
When trying to put my system on standby or hibernate mode, I get an error "The service ' print spooler' is preventing the machine from entering standby / hibernate. Please advise, how can I stop this without manually stopping the print spooler service.1 person needs an answerI do too

Try updating your printer drivers, or uninstalling your printers one by one, restarting the spooler, and then trying to standby/hibernate. If it works, the last printer you uninstalled may have drivers that don't work well when going into standby/hibernate.

Yes, tried unstalling all printers etc..........

Open the Printers folder, and run the following command from a CMD prompt: tasklist /m /FI "IMAGENAME eq spoolsv.exe" What is the output? (To launch a CMD prompt, click Start, Run, and type CMD.EXE, then click OK.)
