I have a new Windows7 LapTop, My desktop is an older Windows XP based system. I would like to print from my Laptop using the printer on the XP. The printer is an HP 8250 in very good condition. The printer is set for sharing but what else needs to be done to accomplish this? My printer is on my XP computer. what other settings do I need to adjust?Thanks1 person needs an answerI do too

You will need to download/install a Windows 7 driver for the HP 8250 printer before connecting to the printer. To do this, simply go to www.hp.com, click on"Support/Drivers" then select "Download Drivers and Software". Enter "Photosmart 8250" in the product window and click "Go". Continue to download the driver and install it on your Windows 7 machine. If the driver doesn't install the printer as part of the driver install, then you may have to go to "Start -> Devices and Printers -> Add a Printer".HTH, JW
