Print Spooler keeps freezing a Xerox printers
Periodically my new Windows 7 machines stop printing. If I go into the services and restart the print spooler printing resumes. The copier/printers are Xerox 75 and 5632. They are run on a windows 2003 print servers with the latest drivers
from Xerox's website for windows 7. There seems to be no particular pattern that I can see for why the spooler freezes up. It happens at different times and different people. Sometimes it will be a week before the problem happens again
and others have the problem once a month. Any ideas of where to start looking or suggestions. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the printers. I am currently trying hooking the computer directly to the printer to see if the problems still exist.
thanks for any help.

Stop the print Spooler service from services.msc.
Delete contents of the C:\Windows\System32\spool\printers folder.
Restart print spooler service from services.msc.
or open command prompt and type
Code:
net stop spooler
del /Q /F /S "%systemroot%\System32\Spool\Printers\*.*"
net start spooler

Hi,
Since the issue occurs randomly, please go to Event Viewer ==> Applications and Services Logs==>Microsoft==>Windows==>PrintService to see if any error
is logged, review the details, copy and paste in your reply.
Before going further, please run the command:
SFC /SCANNOW to scan the system files. If the issue persists, follow solution_provider’s suggestion to clear the printer spooler.
Reference:
The Print Spooler service may stop sending print jobs to a printer that uses the standard port monitor on a Windows
Server 2003-based computer

1. When I stop the spooler and go in the C:\Windows\System32\spool\printers folder it is empty. After a restart the
spooler everything prints fine for an undetermined length.
2. Below is the log file from the latest print failure. I checked a previous one and they look about the same.
