Print Spooler Issues...HELP!
Hi We are soon migrating to Windows 7 form XP and i have been doing some testing. After spending the good part of a day installing server 2003 64 bit drivers to all of our printers on our print server so that i could connect my windows 7 64 bit computer to all of them getting ready for the big migrate which took its time but after a day or so had them all connected and i could print to all of our network printers (about 30 of them) through my windows 7 64 bit computer. i turned my computer off as i left for the day, after coming in this morning and turning my computer on to my horror ALL of the printers had dissapeared from devices and printer,on trying to add a new printer i got a message telling me that the printer spooler wasnt running so i manually started the print spooler in services and got my printers back but as soon as i try to print to any of them or even just connect to one of them the printer spooler stops running and i get the same error message,i have been on loads of forums and tried various fixes to no avail...i really need some help with this one!

Hi, According to your description, this issue usually can be caused by the incompatible driver of printers. I suggest to perform these steps to troubleshoot the issue: 1 Make sure the driver of these printers are support to Windows 7 64bit 2 Reinstall the printer driver As for the issue of Printer Spooler Service, you can try these steps: 1 Go to Service 2 Set Print Spooler Service to “Automatic” 3 Click “OK” 4 Reboot machine Hope that helps.
