Print Spooler - still getting Error 1068 with dependencies started
I've followed advice from this site but now that all of the dependencies are on I still get the same error message. One thing that is confusing me, and hopefully someone will know about is in the list of Dep's for the Print Spooler is some thing called HTTP.
It doesn't appear to be a service (not in the list) and I can't start or stop it (no options).
Any Ideas?

You can check the status of the HTTP service (http) here:
Open the Device Manager > View > Show hidden devices > expand "Non-Plug and Play Drivers"
Is HTTP listed?
If so, can you double-click HTTP > Driver
Is the "Startup Type" set to "Demand" and is the "Current Status" "Started"?

Ok it remains disabled and says the reason is either it is disabled or has no enabled associated devices when I click start.
I tried to Enable it and windows was unable.
What's next to try?

Can you go to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\HTTP
Can you right-click on that registry key and select "Export" and save as a .reg file.
Then right-click the resulting .reg file and select "Edit".
Can you then copy and paste the contents of the .reg file to a post in this thread?

I'm sorry but this might seem like I've been leading you a merry jig but I (in vain hope) tried my printer again tonight and it worked!!!!!!!!!!!
It's been on the blink for 2 weeks now. Stupid thing.
Thank you for you help.
