Primary IP address is reset to 0.0.0.0 after you disconnect and reconnect the network cable in Windows Vista Ultimate
The same problem addressed in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896062/en-us (hotfix for XP) is happening to my Windows Vista Ultimate installation. I have to manually enter my static IP address, then delete a duplicate IP under the "Advanced" setting in the TCP/IPv4 Properties. This is a Vista upgrade from XP, but I sure don't want to apply a XP hotfix if it's going to damage my Vista installation. Any thoughts, help?2 people need an answerI do too
