How do I prevent other users from being able to access certain programs on my computer. Is there a way to hide them or have them not show up on their desktop? You need to be an admin to do this! If you assigned a password to your account and gone to this directory:C:\Documents and settings \All User = and click on Desktop and remove the programs you want no access to it and also to the Start Menu >> Programs. After this log into one of these account and try to access these programs, does it work?If it doesn't then you need to assign a GPO policy to grant an access to whom you prefer to have access and block whom you don't have access. If you have XP professional try this info on these links:How To Use the Group Policy Editor to Manage Local Computer Policy in Windows XPhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/307882http://support.microsoft.com/kb/887405 nass -- http://www.nasstec.co.uk
