Prevent abortion of shutdown
Hello,Is there a way to block the "shutdown /a" command from aborting a system shutdown from any user including an admin?I know sometimes i have tried to abort and it wouldn't let me because the SYSTEM account started it or something. How can I do this?Thank You

Hi,Create a software restriction policy that stops shutdown.exe from getting executed. Here's a link describing SRPs:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb457006.aspxHowever, please do note that there are other software out there that provides the same frunctionality as shutdown.exe (Sysinternals' PSSHUTDOWN, for example). You may want to include these in your SRP as well.Regards,Salvador Manaois IIIMCITP | Enterprise & Server AdminMCSE MCSA MCTS CIWA C|EHBytes & Badz: http://badzmanaois.blogspot.com
