Have facing an erratic behaviour with OCS 2007 R2 deployment. Please go through the scenario mentioned below.

Emp A is in a pool
Emp B is in another pool
A can chat wit B
Bcan chat wit
A
They can even call & share desktop
but they are not able to see the presence.

Presence information is stored on Lync Front End Server.

Can the users in the same pool see each others presence?

Please check you users in pool A can access the Front End Server in pool B.

Seems the problem is related with network connectivity.

You can have you Lync Logging enabled for one user, check the SIP Subscribe requests for that user.
