my users were homed to OCS 2007 r2 pool , and i have joined another company and for this we created another forest with 2 way trust with my old domain , installed Lync 2013 in the new forest , mapped manually the SID and know i can log in to lync 2013 with my old domain user name. My issue is when i search my name in lync 2013 client i always get presence unknown, i have cleared all my msrtc values using ADSIedit and disable my user on the ocs pool still presence unknown , what i am missing here?please help

What happens if you search from another Lync user? Is the result different from a Lync 2013 user vs OCS user?

Are you search a name or full SIP address? Try both and let me know if the results are the same.

Its possible there are some cross domain SQL permission issues that are causing the issue, but its difficult to say with the information provided.

its working now, after adding meet, dailin and server name to the trusted sites every thing is fine, however it;s taking some time for the address book to be updated.

Did you initially try to search on your and from another machine using sip:first.last@sipdomain.com and arrive at the same conclusion?

hello,

we are facing same problem in single ID, actually I manually change SIP address and domain login . after this changes new name not reflecting in search address it shows presence unknown.

if I search with full SIP address its visible in list and its working fine.

I notice that in contact card shows two IM address is it right or some thing is wrong.
