Premium Vs Ultimate
I see MS is now offering half price upgrade orders for W7 Premium. The RC candidate I currently have installed says it is W7 Ultimtate. Does anybody know what the differences are between "Premium" and "Ultimate"? Also is anyone aware of whether MS intends to make an offer of any kind to those of us who are using the RC?Thanks Jim

Or look here: http://store.microsoft.com/microsoft/Windows-Windows-7/category/102. Special offers for RC users are likely not to be seen, as the given reasons for the presales offer just sound like a "thank you for your feedback".Mobile AMD64 3000+, VIA Apollo K8T800 chipset, 1 G RAM, ATIRadeonMobility 9700, 20x DVDRW, C:XPSP3 (55G),D:WIN7 (25G),F:DATA (250G)

The main difference is that PRO does not have bitlocker and multiple languages. Someone designed this to make it a bit easier on another forum so this is no way official but will help with what is all the differences. Tim Comes

Because you've been a loyal Windows customer, we're offering you the Windows 7 upgrade at a great introductory price* - only $49.99 for Home Premium or $99.99 for Professional. It's our way of saying thanks for trying it out. To take advantage of this deal, pre-order your copy while supplies last."So it would seem that they're giving us testers the same general offer that everyone else is getting...
