Pre-Installed software - User account
I have laptop. I am using on win 7 I am able to run the pre-installed games under admin account. I created addditional account. I ried to run the pre-installed games after logging into new account. I am getting "Do you want to allow the program to make changes ........?" and prompt for admin password to run the program every time. We do not want to give the admin password to secondary user. What is the resolution to allow the secondary user to run the programs without such prompt? Did you come across this? Do you use win 7 with admin account and user account basis? Thanks in helping.

Hi, Microsoft has a resource called the Application Compatibility Toolkit. There is a tool called Standard User Analyzer, which should tell you specifically why your app is kicking a UAC prompt. For more guide, you can refer to: Step-By-Step Guide.zip http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=7352Niki Han TechNet Community Support
