Power on after Hibernate, there is no keyboard or mouse :(
Hi,I have a toshiba satellite L355D-S7809 and i installed the Windows 7 build 7100. Whenever i hibernate (no apps running) and power on again, i get the login screen to type my account password but the keyboard or mouse does not work. Not sure if this is a system hang issue. I have to hard boot and start again :(

Whenever i hibernate (no apps running) and power on again, i get the login screen to type my account password but the keyboard or mouse does not work. Not sure if this is a system hang issue. I have to hard boot and start again :( Hi There are several well documented bugs in the Windows 7 RC build. This bug appears when a hardware/software component fails to re-initializewhen the system resumes from Sleep or Hibernation or will not enter the suspend state. These bugshave only beenseen on specific systems that havecombinations of certain hardware/software installed. The only way we have to deal with these issues in the RC buildis to try and avoid using the Sleep/Hibernate functions as much as possible. If you experience this bug and still need to use the Sleep or Hibernate functions be aware that you could possibly lose any unsaved information in applications. The latest information we have is that these issues are fixed in the RTM build.sleep - Microsoft TechNet Forums Search Hope this helps.Thank You for testing Windows 7 Ronnie Vernon MVP
