Power management to game controller?
Hi,I use a game controller to move the mouse around the screen while I sit on the sofa (away from the keyboard/mouse). In Vista, the act of moving the cursor on the screen (with other tools than the mouse)resulted in thatthe screen saver and "turn off screen" was delayed properly after the cursor was moved (as if moved with the mouse). In Windows 7 however this doesn't seem to be the case. Therefore I thought about going into the Device Manager and checking a box (Allow this device to wake the computer)in the power management-tab on the HID-compliant game controller to make it as it was in Vista. But there was no such tab, however there is one for the mouse. Is it possible to activate such a tab for the game controller? Is there another way of allowing the same functionality?I would find it strange if I were not allowed to access my computer from whatever device I wanted to.Thankful for any help regarding this,Ellvinos.

Hello, Windows 7 is a new operating system (only the beta version), we Microsoft has redesigned the whole For you issue, I suggest that you should upgrade the device driver to the latest version compatible with Windows 7 or wait for another period of time till the retail version is released. In addition, I could not view such a tab you mentioned in vista either, I suspect that it might be added by the game controller; since it is the third-part software/device, we Microsoft could not get enough information from their provider. Please understand that I do not mean to bounce you between supports; I just want to involve enough resource and direct you to the right channel to resolve this problem quickly. Good Luck!
