Power Options don't save on fresh install?
I use the Windows 7 RC on my Toshiba laptop. By right-clicking the battery icon, I can access the Power Options dialog. If I.. - click, "Show Additional Plans" - selectone of the additional ones-close out of the dialog (I don't see an accept button)It doesn't seem to save my choice. Whenever I go back into the power options one of the plans listed under "Plans shown on the battery meter" is still checked. Unfortunately, this behavior dissappeared when I created my own plan, so I can't reproduce it anymore. Just wondering if anyone else noticed it on a fresh install.

When you are in "show additiona plans" if you select one of them (there may only be one to choose from) afterward procede to click on the bluetext to the right of it that says "change plan settings" and it should now be saved.

Eh.. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like bad design. That "change plan settings" also takes you to where you can tweak settings for that individual plan. Doesn't seem necessary to me, and adds in a second step to back out of if you're just looking for a quick change to "High Performance". Also, clicking "change plan settings" isn't always necessary to get it to save :/

Crappy answer of mine. I agree with you 110% this is the most illogical dialogue in windows 7.Certainly there should be a save changes, OK orApply buttonthere.
