Possible to recover offline files of deleted user account ?
Hi, I actually have the same problem. One of my users was having problem with the offline sync, and I found no way to back them up. For my user, the problem was that some files (not all) was not available offline and that they had a red cross over the icons. The files was totally random (for ex. a few .doc files in one folder wasnt synced but other .doc files in the same folder was). After I concluded that he was NOT working offline with the files with an red X (since he simply could'nt), I made a backup of his user-folder and removed his profile on the pc. Now he realizes that some files arent updated since months ago (when we look at the files on the server), and that the sync problem must have been bigger than just some unavailable files offline. So, I also need help in this issue. Is there ANY way to recover these updated offline files? Update: I have granted myself permission to view the C:\Windows\CSC folder, but it is the same as on the server. The client has synced so that it is up to date with the old content that are on the server. When I do this, remove profile, let it recreate a new one and also start the sync, is there any location where I can recover these old offline files - or am I totally screwed? Is there any way to recover this data?

Hi, I was having problems with a users pc getting network drives etc off the server, so have deleted the user profile off the pc and have it re created on login. It has now come to light that the laptop also wasn't syncing to the server properly as it should have been so has lost some work that was in the offline files. Is it possible to recover the offline files, or when the user account gets deleted does it also delete the users offline files , as after the new profile is created the offline files cannot be seen any more even with a user with the same username. This is on windows 7 pro by the way. Thanks Iain
