I just experienced a possible Bug in windows 7 I am running a compaq C751NR laptop with 2gigs of ram and it appears that the cpu fan was not running at the correct speed causing my laptop to over heat and shutdown with a blue screen after letting it cool for a while I have tryed to install the vista drivers from HP and so far I have been unable to recreate the problem. I dont know if this is more of a vendor issue then a Windows 7 issue but non the less figured I should report it.

OK this has to be a bug becuase I have downloaded the vista drivers for this laptop and nothing changed and now it appears the cpu fan is not running at all.

bbepristis, You could always try SpeedFan in order to configure your notebook fan manually.-Alex
