Port Forwarding on Vista x64
I'm trying to run a bittorrent client on my Vista x64 OS. Currently I have my Firewall set to default (Setr toON with - allow incoming connections) added to the Exception tabis the client andthe portit runs on (opened bothin TCP and UDP) In my router i have the same port forwarded on two local IP addresses 101 and 102. My computer is set to dynamic IP but it reads as 101. The client is telling me my port is blocked. Any idea as to what I'm not setting properly?

you router is using nat to convert public address to private ( this need to be a STATIC address). Set you workstation to a static ip to address and the configure router to pass all 101 and 102 traffic that address

Thanks, everything is working properly Any reason why dynamic no longer works on Vista? I never had problems with XP running dynamic IP's

The router seams to be the issue so by creating static route you reduce ip routing issues. Glad we could help
