Pop-up and rerouter
I have a pop-up that has recently been showing up. It will randomly form a new tab and go to a survey site or to another site that advertises something. It recently popped up a credit card site. This alarms me because I recently visited a card web site to apply for a card. Any how, this also happens when I do a google search, only when I click a result it will automatically reroute me to a survey type site. I have pop-up blockers on, and have ran antivirus soft ware to include, AVG Free, Ad-Awarw, Spybot Search and Destroy, Malware Bytes Anti-Malware, as well as microsoft security. Everything comes up clear except for privacy cookies here and there. This happens on IE, Google Chrome, and Firefox. Any help is appreciated, thanks! And sorry for the long post.1 person needs an answerI do too

Thanks for the great help! Removed a lot of junk that was hidden. I just had another pop-up. Its usually random. This one was from a site called info.com. Claiming to be a search engine that combines all the others. In the field it had a search I made earlier today on google. Any other advise? Thanks

It appears that you may have multiple and conflicting anti-virus and anti-trojan software installed at this point. Running more than one anti-virus program can make you less secure. With more than one anti-virus program on the same computer, there is a chance for conflicts with a virus on the machine. Each of the anti-virus programs wants to "control" the situation and in some cases, the task of removing the virus does not get done well. You will also experience slowdown as each is trying to run in realtime, and you run the risk of data loss from a system crash that the instability can cause. I suggest that you have someone take a look at the programs running on your computer and see if they can advise you on removing the malware and getting your computer into good running condition again. You can get help for free from trained analysts. Those forums can be found at the links in the recommended sites sections on these pages: http://hjt-data.trendmicro.com/hjt/analyzethis/index.php http://asap.maddoktor2.com/ Please post at only one, and be sure to read the posting instructions at the top of the forum that you select. Thanks for the info. I will be giving it a try. Would you recommend on of the anti-virus programs I have over another? If it helps I noticed that a pop- usually comes after my first double click or so and whatever I have is making my browser crash. Thanks again!

AVG is fine. I use Avast. Microsoft Security Essentials is excellent as well. I suggest that you clean the malware before thinking about trying to install a new anti-virus.
