Polycome cx600 lync hardphone doesn't do the fireware udpate even I put it into the "Test device" in lync cscp

Hello Guys,

We have lync 2010 enterprise voice enabled, and using polycome CX 600 phones.    Now, I am going to update the CX 600 firmware, in test phrase with only one hardphone now.

We have two front-end servers,  I have imported the .cab file into the pool and can see the pending versions from lync cscp, then I put my own test phone in "Test Device", but several days past, it still get no udpate at all.

What might be wrong?

Thanks!

Hi,

Which version of Polycom firmware did you use before?

How did you update Polycom firmware? When update Polycom firmware you need do the following steps:

  1. Prepare Device
  2. Install Update Package
  3. Configure Test Device
  4. Trigger Update
  5. Review Server Logs
  6. Approve Updates

You can refer to the link below of Updating Lync Phone Edition Devices:

Thanks Eason!  My Polycom cx 600 version is 4.0.7577.4414 now.  The article your posted was read before, I did the exactly the same. Imported the cab to webserver successfully, I can see the pending version in lync console, and I put a polycome phone into the test device and tried to triger it by restarting.  But seems my phone still didn't get update.
