Polycom CX600 and Exchange Online Issue

Hi,

We are using Lync 2010/13 (side-by-side upgrade) on-premise and Exchange Online with ADFS 3.0 (Server 2012 R2) for SSO.

Since upgrading to ADFS 3.0 the Polycom CX600 (firmware 4.0.7577.4455) can't connect to Exchange Online EWS for calendar and call logs. Wireshark shows the CX600 initiating a SSLv2 Client Hello to the ADFS server but it's returning a RST,ACK because SSL v2 is not supported.

I have tried enabling SSL v2 on the ADFS server via the SCHANNEL registry key but this doesn't work.

Does anyone else have this similar setup and have a working CX600 and Exchange Online calendar?

Is there anyway to force the CX600 to use TLS 1.2?

Thanks.

 Hi,

 Please try the following method:

  1. On the Lync server open the registry and browse to the following location: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\SecurityProviders\SChannel\Protocols
  2. Create the following Key under Protocol: TLS 1.2
  3. Create the following two Keys under TLS 1.2: Client and Server
  4. Create the following DWORDs under both the Client and Server Key: DisabledByDefault and Enabled
  5. Under both Client and Server set the following: DisabledByDefault=0 and Enabled =1
  6. Reboot the server.
