Polycom CX300 phone over VDI desktop

Hi,

I am aware of the fact that MS\Polycom doesnt support running lync phones over VDI desktops, but still has anyone got this working completly.

The USB mic and speaker on the device passes the sounds as expected from the citrix desktop fine. however presence information and also dialpad iputs are not passed onto the citrix desktop.

Any ideas on how this can be fixed.

What VDI are you using? Assume Zen desktop, which version?

Here are some citrix reference papers:

Yes citrix xen desktop.

Have seen these articles and points toward that this is doable. however the challenge i am seeing is different from Voice and video. the microphone and Speaker perform redirection as expected- issue with with signalling for presence integration, dialpad press, hard hot keys etc no flowing between the device (CX300) and the lync client running on my VDI system.

currently my device only acts as a dumb speaker\microphone device without any rich integration with Lync.

Shravan, did you ever get this issue fixed with any of the new Lync 2013 Implementation methods such as Lync VDI plugin, Lync Optimization Pack, or Local App Access? Let me know, Thanks!
