Please help! System cannot check for errors and cannot defrag
My system cannot check for errors. I cannot defrag because it says that errors need to be fixed/checked first. I cannot manually check for errors and cannot have the system check apon restart.I would actually not mind a full clean slate on my entire windows, but I do not have my set of Windows disks. I have moved a few times along college and they got lost somewhere among the moves.I really don't have any extra cash for programs, and am not too smart when it comes to messing around with too many interior features.I did an error check on doublemyspeed.com and it said 700 errors. Comp hasn't been able to check for errors for years and its showing greatly. One of my accounts on the computer is messed up I know. When I try to go to task manager, it says it has been turned off by an admin, but that account is an admin account. If I delete an account can that fix errors that might have happened when that account was the only account on the computer?Am I just totally out of luck here? Thanks for any input.Rehab8091 person got this answerI do too
